Summer is in full swing and we have been busy, busy, busy.
Thank you to everyone who has come out for Monday night dinners. They have been very fun and very delicious. And thank you to all of you who keep shopping with us, these summer months are the only way we make it into the winter.
Which brings me to the roof. The market building needs a new one this fall, and we're raising money for materials. Anything past that goes to installation and labor, and our never-ending list of projects and repairs. (Lofty and optimistic, aren't I?) You can chip in here: Raise the roof! Or in person at the market, over the phone, or by mail via check. :)
Two things on the calendar, both for the Laugh & Learn Preschool Program:
Art show — Tuesday, August 4th, Waterman's Community Center. Marigold (my daughter, age 5) and I are showing work together again. Reception will be 5–7PM with drinks and bites, and it stays up for ten days to purchase if you are unable to make the reception. Part of the proceeds will go directly to Laugh & Learn, and we've priced things so anyone who wants to take art home, can.
Fundraiser at the Market — Friday, August 7th. Community Days weekend. We'll donate 10% of sales that day. In-store shopping only, no phone orders (sorry!), and it excludes alcohol and prepared foods.
